Our Story

From ancient biographies to the modern global platform model
The idea of recording the lives of extraordinary individuals has existed for centuries – from the Bible to Plutarch's Parallel Lives in ancient Greece. In 1849, the Black brothers published the first edition of Who's Who in England, creating an important milestone in the tradition of biographical encyclopedias. Today, Britishpedia – Encyclopedia of Successful People – continues this tradition.

Founded in 2013 in London, BPH – British Publishing House Ltd. represents a modern and globally connected publishing approach. Through the Successful People book series and the Britishpedia Showcase format, it provides space for excellence, leadership and true inspiration. With teams in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, we work every day to document success stories authentically, professionally and with a vision for the future, and bring them to the world.
